The latest movie in the blockbuster Marvels series was being released in cinemas, Captain America Civil War, and they needed to create a bang, worthy of a superhero of course.
We started by interpreting a 33 page brief document to create a standee that was cost-effective, easy to assemble and looked identical to the American display. So we created a mock-up of the American version to identify how we could make simplify and improve the existing design.
After spending time altering the American mock-up, we designed a stand that had a similar look, but that was much cheaper to produce and easier to assemble with the ability to ship to 150 locations across Australia. Once assembled, the stand was six metres wide and two metres high, with many pop out 3D elements, making an attention-grabbing cinema display.
